      • The readers should check the books thoroughly for missing pages, chapters etc while getting them issued.
      • No book in damaged condition will be accepted from the users on return. Damaged books will have to be replaced by the borrower. In case of loss of books by the borrower, the borrower is required either to replace the books with a recent edition, if available or pay the latest editions cost plus 20 % of the book cost as fine.
      • All teaching staff members up to reader level are entitled to borrow 3 books only.
      • U.G. Student can borrow two books for a period of 15 days on producing the B.T. card & also barrow one reference books on Hall Card for one day only.
      • P.G. Student can borrow two books for a period of 15 days on producing the B.T. card & also barrow one reference books on Hall Card for one day only.
      • A late fee fine 5 Rupees per day will be charged to defaulters at the time of returning the book. Unless the fine is paid. He will not be allowed to avail library facilities.
      • The non-medical staff of this institute can borrow one general book or one magazine for a period of 10 days but they cannot borrow the medical books. In case they wish to have anyone medical book they shall produce a specific recommendation of the head of department concerned.
      • Latest purchased reference books should not be issue to any staff member and such books should be kept reserve for one month in library.
      • Recent advances yearbooks and reserved books shall not be issued any staff members and cannot be transferred to any departmental library. They should be kept in central library only.
      • The book borrowed once can reissued provided there in no demand for the same from others books can be kept reserved on demand and receipt of such book will be notified on the notice board for the information of the borrower. However no book shall be kept reserve for more than two days.
      • No book will be issued during the period when the stock checking is under way, loss of books purchased form cost of books lost from library.
      • New staff members can borrow one book, cost below than 1000=00 after one year completion of his/her service he/she will be eligible for borrow of 3 books.
      • Every person taking a book out of the library and even for reading with in the library is responsible for its safe custody.
      • A person found mutilating the pages or damaging them shall be debarred from the use of the library.
      • Readers shall not write upon, damage turn down the leaves or makes any mark either in pencil or in ink upon any book.
      • In case of book belonging to a set or series and a new volumes in not separately available the stock set or series must be replaced. The injured or defaced book, set or series will be given to the borrower.
      • The library committee will take such action against unauthorized remove of books or other property from the library as considered fit.

      • Talking, Spitting, Eating, Sleeping, Putting legs on the table, Smoking or any behavior to disturb others is strictly prohibited and necessary action like forfeiture of membership will be taken.
      • All personal belongings like bags, apron, folders etc. should be kept on counter before they enter to the library.
      • Personal books are not allowed in library.
      • Any members violating discipline of the librarian should warned for first and second time, next he will not be allow to use library facility for 15 days and next to be followed by permanent debarring form the use of library facilities.
